Fueling Tank's Sales Surge: SVOLT Debuts Cutting-edge PHEV Fast-Charging Cells at Beijing International Automotive Exhibition

On April 25th, 2024, the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition commenced at China International Exhibition Center. Among the distinguished exhibitors, SVOLT unveiled its latest lineup featuring the highly anticipated Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle(PHEV) and Extended-Range Electric Vehicle(EREV) batteries and the acclaimed 62Ah, 90Ah, and 117Ah variants, alongside the cutting-edge 100Ah Dragon Armor PHEV NCM Fast-Charge Cell. Additionally, the unveiling included the debut of a bespoke battery pack tailored for the Tank 700 off-road luxury vehicles. The trio of specialized EV batteries designed for PHEV and EREV showcased at this exhibition have undergone significant performance enhancements. While ensuring they meet the essential range requirements for vehicle owners, all models now boast a 2.2C fast-charging capability, addressing the PHEV market's demand for swift recharging, with no additional cost to consumers. Currently, these three batteries are integrated into top-selling PHEV models such as the Li L7 2024, VOYAH DREAM, VOYAH FREE, VOYAH PASSION, LYNK 08, GEELY Galaxy L6 and L7, as well as the GWM's TANK series, all of which are also prominently featured at this year's exhibition.

An aspect worth highlighting is the presence of SVOLT's 100Ah Dragon Armor Hybrid NCM Fast-Charge Cell and pack in the showcased Tank 700 Hi4-T at the GWM's booth. As a rugged off-road vehicle in the large SUV segment, the Tank 700 places paramount importance on battery safety and performance, particularly in challenging terrains. SVOLT's commitment to prioritizing cell safety in its battery design philosophy, coupled with its innovative advancements in PHEV technology, effectively addresses this concern. The pack featured in the Tank 700 displayed at this event is meticulously engineered to bolster vehicle safety. Incorporating a dual-pack design and heightened ground clearance, it integrates a series of robust protective measures, including "battery pack protection," "vehicle safeguarding," and "cloud-based 24-hour diagnostic monitoring." These measures collectively fulfill the vehicle's requirements for ample energy storage and extended operational range, ensuring optimal performance even in demanding conditions.

In addition to the Tank 700, the all-new Tank 500 Hi4Z also features SVOLT's 59.06-kWh NCM cells, delivering robust power to meet users' driving needs. With a pure electric range of up to 201 kilometers and an energy consumption rate of only 8.60, whether for long journeys or daily commutes, users can effortlessly enjoy their driving experience. Since announcing its support for the Tank 700 Hi4-T model earlier this year, SVOLT has been actively pursuing advancements in the PHEV market. It has achieved iterative upgrades for PHEV batteries, with the entire series now upgraded to 2.2C fast-charging capability to meet the market demand for high-capacity, long-range performance. Simultaneously, in the realm of pure electric vehicles, SVOLT has debuted its EV battery solutions for popular models such as the BMW MINI COOPER and ACEMAN at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition this year. It has also provided EV battery solutions for popular pure electric models including JIYUE series, FUNKY CAT, Ora Grand Cat, XPENG P5, LEAP Motor C10 & C11, WULING, and others.
