The high-profile 2025 Global Top 500 Unicorn Report, jointly issued by the Unicorn Enterprise Research Institute, the China Private Enterprise Research Center at Renmin University of China, and research institute for New Quality Productive Forces at Tsinghua University, and other authoritative organizations, was officially unveiled at the 2025 Top 500 Unicorn Enterprise Conference held in Qingdao. SVOLT has once again earned a place in the Global Unicorn Index 2025, ranking 49th in China and 153rd globally.

According to the latest data from SNE Research, the global EV battery installed capacity (covering BEV, PHEV and HEV) reached approximately 933.5 GWh in the first ten months of 2025, a robust 35.2% year-on-year growth. During the same period, SVOLT achieved a global EV battery installed capacity of 23.7 GWh—a remarkable year-on-year surge of 86.6%— ranking it first in growth rate among the global top 10 battery suppliers. This performance has driven its global market share up from 1.8% to 2.5%, demonstrating a strong growth momentum.

Since 2024, ultra-fast charging batteries have become a technological battleground for EV battery companies. Several EV battery and OEM manufacturers have introduced square, pouch, and cylindrical cells capable of charging to 80% State of Charge (SOC) in 10-15 minutes or providing 400-500 kilometers of range with a 5-minute charge. Fast charging has become a shared pursuit among battery companies and automotive manufacturers.

On April 25th, 2024, the 18th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition commenced at China International Exhibition Center. Among the distinguished exhibitors, SVOLT unveiled its latest lineup featuring the highly anticipated Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle(PHEV) and Extended-Range Electric Vehicle(EREV) batteries and the acclaimed 62Ah, 90Ah, and 117Ah variants, alongside the cutting-edge 100Ah Dragon Armor PHEV NCM Fast-Charge Cell. Additionally, the unveiling included the debut of a bespoke battery pack tailored for the Tank 700 off-road luxury vehicles.

On February 27, SVOLT and Banpu NEXT, a subsidiary of the international energy giant Banpu Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter referred to as the “MOU”). This signing follows the establishment of a joint venture factory between the two parties, aiming to innovate their commercial cooperation models and further deepen their collaboration to maintain the leading position of SVOLT Thailand factory in the Southeast Asian region.

On February 28, SVOLT held a Mass Production Ceremony in Thailand to announce the official commencement of production at SVOLT Thailand factory. The products have begun to be delivered in bulk, and will be launched in Thailand market with various new energy vehicle models under Great Wall Motor and Hozon Motor.
